Do clit suction vibrators actually work?
Unless you've been living under a rock for the last few years, if you're someone who likes and uses sex toys you've probably heard of the game-changing sex toy tech that is "air-wave technology".
Breaking out in incredible style almost ten years ago (2014), the Womanizer was the first of these to really take over the world, followed closely by the Satisfyer, with almost all sex toy companies jumping on the bandwagon since to bring out their own versions.
While often described as using "suction", this is a bit of a misrepresentation of how it actually works, although it's sort of hard to explain without using that term.
Basically they work by creating a seal around the clitoris (hence the "vacuum" tag?) and then swirling and pulsing air into that vacuum to stimulate the area in ways that can tempt, tease, and satisfy almost any type of clitoris, with any sort of sensitivity or lack thereof. The closest way most companies describe the feeling is like oral sex, and from that you can sort of see why the term "suction " is used so often.
Some companies (Womanizer, I'm looking at you) were so convinced of their success rate they even offered money back guaranteed orgasms when they first launched the toys. And I can tell you, as someone who has tried, tested, and reviewed sex toys for around twenty years, I have to say, they totally did what they said they were going to do, and really have changed the way millions of women masturbate and play with sex toys.
Apart from the Womanizer and Satisfyer range, probably the airwave/suction toy that keeps coming up, doing the rounds, and blowing people's minds is the (incredibly unfortunately named) Tracey's Dog vibrator that stormed onto the scene with a hilarious Amazon review, and stayed because it's insanely good, and relatively cheap.
This toy is a double use toy like the old school rabbit vibes, with an insertable end for internal/Gspot stimulation and the "rabbit" part being a clitoral air-wave suction attachment.
I don't think I have come across a single person who has bought one and not enjoyed it, and I really think the only thing stopping a lot of women from trying one is the name.
Now here's the thing, and the reason I wanted to make the distinction at the start, vacuum sucking clitoral toys DO exist as well, but these are slightly different and should almost always come with a bit of a warning label that they can cause damage.... But also some people really, really love them and they can totally blow your mind... If you're careful.
Similarly to the warnings men will get when using penis pumps, clitoral vacuum pumps and toys can take a little bit of getting used to, and can - if used too long or incorrectly - actually damage the area, burst blood vessels, bruise, and hurt some of your most sensitive areas and organs, at the time when you're really, really wanting to use them.
Unfortunately for the lovers of literal vacuum sucking toys they're often not available in the brands we know and love and often recommend, and are usually regaled to the generic knock off brands that sit in the cheaper section of your local adult shop.
To buy these ones I would always recommend going in store and trying the tester out on your arm to see how strong the suction is, and get an idea of how strong it can actually be... And to make sure the toy you're buying has a quick release button just in case.
Buying sight and test unseen online can lead to purchase regret at best, and damaging your genitals at worst, so it's always best to go in and check them out properly.
If you're the kind of person who talk sex toys with your friends (and hey, we should ALL be that kind of person) I'm going to guess one of your mates has recommend one of these toys to you... Absolutely listen!
They really are incredible and have, like I said at the start, changed the way women and other vulva owners masturbate and orgasm. It doesn't matter if you have a clitoris that is so sensitive you can hardly stand it, or one that needs a jack hammer buzz to get off, these air-wave technology toys will do it for you in ways you've never, ever imagined.

More than a month agoReading all the responses, and I am a bit surprised. There seems no consideration for the different level of sensitivity of the clit. For my part I love my vibrator, but the "little sucker" is just to much sensation for me to be able to handle it. I stick wirh my trusty vibrator, which tales me to the top in 3 min.

More than a month agoYou are spot on. I went into the local sex shop looking for a toy and the guy told me about it. I bought it and I've never seen my partner come so quickly...it's a guarantee finisher. I know as soon as that circle goes around her clitoris, I've got 30 seconds before it's game over.

More than a month agoToo much focus & concentration to put it in the right spot given the area is so small on both of these you mention.
While these 2 I don't have, I do have other suction & licking vibes & give them a thumbs down.
Wands are definitely a favourite by many.
Domi2 by Lovense and is Bluetooth.

More than a month agoThe Womeniser is our go to.
Though it works so well that at least 1 towel is needed to be strategically placed before using, the shape and size means that we can use it during intercourse as well so it really is our first choice toy.

More than a month agoWe find that most sex toys are great to get the balls rolling and the juices flowing but when the toy builds her up and it cums to grand finale, we find it much nicer to quickly remove the toy and finish off with some flesh on flesh simulation be it with a partner or solo.

More than a month agoThey are the best. Love the Satisfyer pro app, where your partner can control the toy using the app.. can also use it to music and many other functions, my favorite way to start the day..
