Q: I hope you don't feel this is a silly question as it's something which, as a newly divorced female, is troubling me. I was married for 25 years to a lovely man but we grew apart and now I find myself back in the "dating" game. The problem is my husband was circumcised and looking at some of the profiles there appear to be many guys out there who aren't. Help. What do you do with an uncircumcised penis?

There are a few distinct differences between circumcised and uncircumcised penises, the most obvious one being how they look.

An uncircumcised penis, looks a bit like a circumcised one wearing a turtleneck, with the skin of the shaft coming up over the tip. Some foreskins are longer than others so the head isn't visible at all, and others you can see the head peeping out, and as they grow to an erection some foreskins will retract further than others with some showing the full head and others not.

The other distinct difference is in the way it feels, both for you and him. Firstly for you, it will feel like the penis is in a sort of wrap, which essentially it is. You can slide the skin up and down the shaft and it's like a sleeve rubbing the penis. In sex this means there's less friction to the vagina and can actually be more comfortable than constant thrusting, especially if you're sensitive or have low lubrication. Secondly, for him, the foreskin is not just extra skin, there are thousands of nerve endings there so when you tug and stroke and play you may find you need to be a little bit gentler than you've been previously. Also be aware that even though the foreskin moves up and down as you tug, if you pull it down too far it can really hurt!

Probably the best advice I can give you, though, is to actually ask the owner of the penis you're playing with what they like. Be honest.       I too was shamed as a young man about my foreskin, I found it to also be quite devastating to my mental health as i felt like no one would ever like me. I went through major depression during my teenage years resulting in many suicide attempts... Thankfully!!!       Oh believe me lovely, it's the best. Just give it a do. You never know unless you give it a go. Make sure it's clean. Most men are taught at a young age how to care for their foreskin. I taught my son how to gently pull it back and clean it with his finger and water only from age 3.

    Hmm thats intresting; I have a circumcised cock; the article regarding it being more comfortable in the vagina with an uncut one makes me regret getting it cut; so to speak. The main reason i had my one cut was that I find it much cleaner; looks as well as bacterior wise; regarding inbetween the foreskin and the head.

      Its all so subjective and individual it's actually really hard to make definitive positions on it.
      I've had great sex with both and not so great with both.
      Sex and sexual enjoyment is different for each person... And with each person that person has sex with.

      May I also ad, it is actually backwards, research shows us that a uncut penis is actually cleaner than a circumcised penis as women may not know this but during the day most men pre-cum a little bit every now and then and it does leak out of the tip in small drips, (a couple a day, sometimes more if you have a sticky dream/moment) if you are circumcised there is nothing between the head and your underwear to help prevent this. whilst a uncircumcised penis actually cleans itself, to a degree. (of course you still need to maintain good personal hygiene. but there is healthy bacteria that helps breakdown any germs that may occur.

    I have a uncircumcised but i have been rolling the skin back since i was a teenager but when my penis get erected the fore skin rolls back and it looks like circumcised and the extra actually give more pleasure to a woman and because i been pulling my fore skin back for many years it made my penis head much bigger and i keep it clean all the time really lady's look for me if you interested to find out.
