Can men have multiple orgasms?
Q: I've heard that men can have multiple orgasms, like women. Is that true? I've tried, but every time I get off I need at least 10 or 15 minutes before I'm ready to go. What am I doing wrong?
Sceptics, begone! Multiple orgasms are perfectly attainable for almost any gentleman, and you don't even need titanium balls to achieve them.
I know it sounds crazy, and some of you may need more convincing. You’re right that multiple orgasms are mostly considered a woman's domain, and even those lucky ladies seem mysterious to women who struggle to achieve one paltry O.
But in a way, you're also right that men can achieve multiple orgasms as well. However, the experience you have will be very different than that of women who can cum multiple times in a row. When people talk about men having multiple orgasms, they're not suggesting all guys are capable of blowing their wad four or five times in one go. That being said, you may be able to teach yourself to cum without ejaculating, and that's probably a lot kinder to your poor penis in the long run.
For men, orgasms typically occur a couple seconds before ejaculation. When you "hold it in", you wind up having a series of slightly less intense peaks without losing your erection in between. However, when you're ready for the grand finale, all that built-up muscular tension is more than likely to make up for the somewhat watered-down orgasms you had before. Some people refer to them as "orgasm-esque states" but make of that what you will. Think of it as a step beyond edging - pushing yourself just beyond the point of no return, but stopping and clenching at just the right moment.
This isn’t a skill you are born with - it takes practice and knowledge. Though this may come as a surprise, you’ll also need to get familiar with Kegels - those pelvic exercises are not just for women! The key to becoming a multi-orgasmic Magic Mike lies in strengthening your PC muscle, otherwise known as your pubococcygeus muscle or your pelvic floor.
To do this, you simply need to contract the muscle as you would when stopping the flow of urine. You can do this during board meetings or when going for a tinkle, but your best bet is to set aside 20-30 minutes a day where you can practise bringing yourself close to orgasm and then squeezing the muscle tight as soon as you start to feel the first contractions.
If you've tried a few times to no avail, it might be a sign of a weak PC muscle or, more likely, you're just not timing it right. As with all things erudite and noble, practice makes perfect (the only downside is that you might have a somewhat unexpected orgasm - big deal!). If at first you don't succeed, wank, wank again.

More than a month agoContrary to this article, I have been multi-orgasmic for a very long while. To say that the orgasms without ejaculation are somewhat watered down is not so true. I can have as many orgasms as I like without ejaculating and more often than not they are far far more intense and longer lasting than orgasms with ejaculation. It is not always about muscle tension either The bonus is without ejaculating, the body doesn't need any 'recovery' period that men often require for them to sustain sex. With ejaculation choice you can stay engaged in sex for as long as you like and enjoy many orgasms along the way.
