Dicks Around the World: Countries Ranked According to Endowment

By now, most of you have probably already come across the well-publicised study on average dick size.

In case you haven't, a team of U.K. researchers analysed data from over 15,000 males and determined that the average penis is 9.14 centimetres when flaccid and 13.11 centimetres when erect.

The research set out to dispel much of the anxiety men experience over penis size, though it was noted that even he who's above average may continue ruminating about his standing relative to the pecker measurements around him.

Well, here's one thing: the research acknowledged that there wasn't sufficient data to draw any meaningful conclusions about racial differences when it came to measuring up, but if there's any major takeaway from all of this, it's that men are endlessly fascinated with penises - their own, and those of others. So why stop at one set of data?

Fortunately, if you're wondering which countries can lay claim to the most robust sausages in the world, there's an interactive map for that.

The map, which is constantly collecting data from viewers who can self-report their size, can give you a pretty good idea of where you should travel if you're into monster schlong tourism. At a glance, the most endowed men can be found in the Northern part of South America and a pocket of Central Africa. Heading up the caboose are countries in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

For those who like things to be definitively ranked, here are the top and bottom five countries:

  • DR Congo: 17.93 cm
  • Ecuador: 17.77 cm
  • Ghana: 17.31 cm
  • Venezuela: 16.93 cm
  • Cameroon: 16.65 cm

Bottom 5 Countries

  • Nepal: 9.3 cm
  • Thailand: 9.43 cm
  • North Korea: 9.6 cm
  • Cambodia: 10.04 cm
  • South Korea: 10.8 cm

Of course, many of you will be happy to learn that Australia is pretty high up on the list at number 20, clocking in at a jolly 15.7 cm.
