Profile Completeness
What is Profile Completeness?
Profile completeness is a % score we give each profile based on the information the member has provided.
We recently made some changes to the way we “score” the profile completeness which means your % score may be different to what it was last month, even if you haven’t made changes.
Why did we make the changes?
We asked members what was important to them when it came to viewing a profile and we changed the % score based on this feedback. So photos, profile verification, about me and sexual interests, etc. have been given a higher score than before.
Also profiles with a low score were previously restricted to try to encourage members to add more info. They couldn’t enter chat for example. We’ve removed these restrictions but will continue to encourage members to add more info to their profile if, for example, as a standard member they try to wink another member. They can send the wink but we tell them that if they add more info then they have a better chance of receiving a reply.
What do you need to do?
Obviously the ideal is to try to get your profile completeness score to 100%
The more information you provide on your profile, the more chances you have of another member finding you in a specific search and matching with you.
When you Edit your profile you are shown your score and are given some options about what you can add or change on your profile to achieve a higher score. Keep in mind that some changes have to be approved by our Support team and because we don’t use AI there might be a small delay before they review the change. Once it’s been reviewed and approved your score will be updated.
